CINE
MOON
Cinemoon is a design project for a movie theater chain. Since most real theater chains only used dark themes, my goal was to use a light theme with my favorite colors. The neon sign was created using Adobe After Effects.
LA 2028
A branding project for the Los Angeles Summer Olympics 2028. Inspiration for the color palette came from the sunset of LA, combined with the vivid theme of the 1984 LA Olympics.
JSA
As the head of the design committee of the Japanese Student Association, I was in charge of designing the logo and graphics for the club. I designed flyers, Instagram posts, and also had an opportunity to design a hoodie.
The logo is inspired from origami and many of the graphics use traditional Japanese patterns and colors to represent our culture.
STICKERS
Throughout my years at JSA, I made sticker designs to sell at events and fundraisers. It was one of our most successful projects and managed to raise a lot of money.
My inspirations mainly came from combinations of animals and Japanese culture, and also adding some school spirit to it.
RECIPE BOOK
A recipe book to introduce Japanese household recipes which are mainly based on Italian food. They are arranged and simplified to the point where calling them Italian food would be an injustice, hence the quotation marks around “Italian”.
The illustration was done on Procreate and done to make the book look vintage.
